Maine Pediatric PT SIG

Maine Pediatric PT SIG

Purpose of the Pediatric Physical Therapy (PT) Special Interest Group (SIG):
To create community, collaboration, and learning opportunities for pediatric PTs and PTAs in the state of Maine. The SIG will create a network of pediatric therapists to support advocacy efforts, share resources, and promote evidence based practice. The SIG will align with and support the initiatives of the Maine APTA and the APTA Academy of Pediatric PT.

Next Scheduled Meeting

Our next networking meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 11th from 6:30-7:30pm via Zoom. The goal of the meeting is to discuss Pediatric Equipment, Therapy, Funding and Recreation Resources in Maine in order to create and share a resource list for providers and families across the state.

Do you have a practice site you want to share?
Have you developed a resource list for your practice region you want to expand upon?
Want to learn more about available resources?

Come join us for a robust discussion. We will be asking for individuals who would be willing to assist as a task force to help compile all the information collected afterwards. More information to come.
